Medigap Plan B
When there are gaps in Medicare not covered by Medicare and Medicare Part B, you may need a Medigap plan to cover the difference.
Medigap Plan B covers the following items:
- Coinsurance for Medicare Part A hospital coverage plus additional benefits for up to 365 after the initial benefits are used up.
- Co-insurance and copayments for Medicare Part B.
- The first 3 pints of blood
- The Medicare Part A deductible
- Medicare insurance preventative care co-payments (coinsurance) coverage.
- The deductible for Medicare Part A hospice care
